Spotlighting Cameroon's Emerging Superstars!

Hello Steem mates, I hope that you are doing well today. I equally hope that we are all embracing without fear all the opportunities that this new week brings.
The week for me started quite well yesterday, November 17th, as I attended the 6:15 AM service. After the service, I had a training session with a student who recently signed up for a 6-month public speaking training. Due to his tight schedule, he is only available on Sundays. After the training, I left the office at about 1 PM and headed straight to attend the Cameroon Talent Awakening show at Mile 7 Nkwen, Achico Lounge.
I was honored to be invited to partake in the national talent discovery as one of the three judges for the 3rd edition of this show by Cameroon Talent Awakening. Talent showcases were conducted in categories like public speaking/spoken word, singing, dancing, and comedy.
The Judges
I had a great time at the event as I was entertained and amazed by the massive talent that Bamenda has. That wasn't even news because in the edition before last, I was marveled at the talent I saw, and that's part of the reason why I felt compelled to attend the 3rd edition.
I was particularly impressed by a young lady called Pride Bae. She is a rapper and has good songwriting skills, but what caught my attention is the fact that she came to this edition better than in the previous one. She wasn't the winner of this last edition of the showcase, but she was closer than she was in the previous edition.
MC, judges, CEO of CTA and the winners
The young lady who took home the first prize is a vocalist by the stage name Vanzy. She sang a song by Whitney Houston and gave everyone goosebumps. She was so good we had to hand her the first prize of 30k plus some sponsorships. One of my fellow judges was the CEO of Z-Prime, a promising showbiz platform. He is also a vocalist and music producer and offered to sponsor two of Vanzy's musical projects. The other colleague was a powerful speaker, MC, and trainer. He offered Vanzy his platform to showcase her talent in Buea. I offered to train and coach Vanzy in public speaking and personal development for a period of two weeks and also gave her
my platform as the organizer of an upcoming personal development seminar to showcase her talent to more people and to grow her fan base. As for Pride, we are graduating students at the Texas Institute of Public Speaking come December 15th, and I invited Pride to come perform and empower herself.
Don Phyno celebrating with Vanzy
It was a great pleasure to take part in discovering some of the superstars of the Cameroon entertainment industry. One great thing is that their content was very rich and created more awareness about some serious societal problems.
I hope that their efforts are rewarded.
