Solcial - new uncensored social network

Freedom of speech is the right of a person to freely express his thoughts.

During periods of political and economic war, both within the country and on the world stage, freedom of speech is a very convenient tool, under which almost any offense can be written off. In addition to ordinary users, the Internet is saturated with many specialized agencies and groups of specialists, consisting of professional psychologists, marketers, analysts, editors, copywriters and other influential specialists whose task is to form public opinion.
Social networking sites target users across the political spectrum. Loud bans concerned both left and right and international groups. Even users who feel that some content should be banned may end up on the wrong side of overuse policy. Since most users do not turn to alternative interfaces, in some cases one site can effectively censor content for the general public.

The sensational scandal with the departure of Google from China, endless disputes about “problematic” bills regulating Internet communications in European countries, increased control of online activity in Russia, attempts to change the notorious law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Public Morals” are all links in one chain.

As a result, many decentralized platforms are looking to reform social media from its current state. Anti-censorship is just one part of this trend: some projects are looking for more open moderation, while others are looking for better revenue sharing.
A new project in which we are participating, the new social network Solcial, promotes precisely freedom of speech, allowing users to interact without fear of being banned or censored.

The Solcial developers state that “Our main goal is to create a more open, inclusive social network that promotes freedom of speech and helps citizens express their opinions in a civilian way, without government interference or fear of being banned or persecuted.”

All user content is stored in IPFS (essentially distributed free file storage) and is available through the P2P layer. Therefore, Social does not rely on censored servers or gateways. And all operations related to tokens (mining, trading, etc.) are performed on the Solana blockchain.
