Hello steemian friends, on the occasion of this week we will carry out teaching practice, we hope that with this course you can experience firsthand the experience of being a teacher.
👨🏫 The main purpose of teaching |
---|
Teachers have a special task to transfer knowledge to students, teachers play an important role in educating the lives of mankind.
Being a teacher is not easy, having extensive knowledge in a particular field does not necessarily mean you can be called a teacher. But how the knowledge possessed can be passed on to others, this is the main key to being a teacher.
🙅♂️ Having the right methods and strategies |
---|
Teachers must be able to develop lesson plans and implement them, teachers must also be able to use a combination of various learning methods and strategies that they consider appropriate, whatever methods and strategies are used, the most important thing is that the knowledge conveyed must be easily accepted by students.
An insightful lecturer may not be able to teach kindergarten children, do you agree? If this incident really happened, of course we would see the lecturer talking to himself without anyone caring about what he said.
Teaching some teachers in rural areas
Teaching adults certainly has specific methods and strategies, teaching kindergarten students also has specific methods and strategies. So different levels of students have different methods and strategies. Teachers can choose any method that according to their beliefs and experience can be effective in delivering learning materials.
🤷♂️ The core of learning activities |
---|
Overall, the main core in a learning activity is input, process and output.
1. Input: The teacher delivers the learning materials as prepared in the lesson plan using a combination of learning methods and strategies.
2. Process: The teacher gives assignments, exercises and practices so that students can understand the material taught.
3. Output: The teacher provides an assessment of learning outcomes, this assessment is expected to change the cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities of students.
🙋♂️ Exercises to start teaching practice |
---|
If you want to become a teacher you can start teaching practice in front of a mirror, this will help you become more confident when you meet students.
The next step is to try teaching one or two students, with fewer numbers you will get used to dealing with various kinds of problems that exist before jumping directly into a class with more students.
Watch other teachers teach, by watching others teach you will gain understanding and experience, you will understand how the class situation is, how to condition it, and how to start learning material to students.
