In the fifth session, I will discuss a little about the importance of our environment being clean healthy, and environmentally friendly. The village in this case must provide financial support for the community in order to get socialization about caring for the environment.

We see that nowadays people are less concerned about the environment, even though the impact of a clean and healthy environment is a manifestation so that people can live side by side by having a friendly environment. Furthermore, people will also get fresh air both in the morning and at night.

So far, our empowerment facilitators have tried to disseminate information about the importance of environmental sustainability. The main problems we encountered in the discussion group forums were funding problems and lack of support from the authorities. So that people in moving themselves are somewhat limited because they do not have sufficient funds.

EXAMPLE OF THE APPLICATION:

• Training on making Biogas, Bio Ethanol, MHP, Solar cells, and others.
• Conservation and reforestation
• Peatland rehabilitation
• Watershed cleaning
• Coral reef rehabilitation
• Mangrove forest maintenance
• Mangrove rehabilitation
• Household waste management
• Waste processing
• Environmentally friendly use of fishing nets
• Countermeasures against beach abrasion
• And others.

Of the many examples of activities that can be carried out, there is no one activity that is perfectly implemented in every village. One of the main factors is the lack of awareness of the community itself in creating a healthy life. Even though there are a lot of positive values that can be obtained with shared awareness.

Another very striking problem is flooding everywhere because a lot of garbage has piled up in the channels and rivers. And also makes unpleasant odors come out so that you don't have the comfort of living in a dirty environment.

In the future, the world smile project will also carry out environmentally friendly activities by trying one of the activities I mentioned above. Let's together make improvements to our respective villages to avoid all calamities, ranging from diseases and floods that we always feel every year.
