Tomatoes and olive oil.

Both can be consumed with yogurt, or mixed into smoothies.

Oatmeal and Blueberry Porridge.

In oats there is soluble fiber which is useful for lowering cholesterol, and preventing the buildup of fatty fibers in the arteries. A study conducted by Park University, and published in the Journal of Nutrition, found facts about the benefits of vitamin C contained in blueberries, when combined with phytochemicals in oats, which can lower cholesterol and protect arteries. Consuming warm oats sprinkled with blueberries can be the best breakfast menu.

Salad and Avocado.

A study from Ohao University found that phytochemicals from a mixture of green salad can be absorbed by the body three times more effectively when consumed with one and a half teaspoons of avocado, compared to being eaten alone. You can combine these two foods in a vegetable salad. That way, consuming both will be more effective in fighting heart disease, preventing cataracts and cancer.

Milk and Bananas.

The combination of milk and bananas can increase the absorption of minerals in the body. Bananas with milk can be made into smoothies and consumed at breakfast or at night to help you sleep better.

Broccoli and Eggs.

Broccoli is rich in calcium. While eggs are a natural source of vitamin D. Research shows that adding a little vitamin D to calcium-rich foods will make the body absorb up to 60 percent more. You can create an omelet with broccoli filling and a sprinkling of cheese.

Apples and Dark Chocolate.
