Greetings Incredible India Family

That is our weekly curation report for March 2024.

Our community comes under #burnsteem25;
Hence, we request all the users;
to set a 25% beneficiary in the @null account before submitting any post.

Now onward, we will publish the curation report every Saturday;
This week, we selected posts keeping engagement and consistency in mind besides quality.
These changes will give every user a fair chance to be on the top.

Here is our weekly engagement report shared by our co-admin @sampabiswas weekly-engagement-report
  • Foremost, we want to convey that as per our new initiative,
    we distribute rewards among the best three engaged users of the week. Hence, from now on, we will nominate the top posts in terms of quality, consistency, and the presence of users in hangout and tutorial classes.

Every week, we select some posts that are not only good in quality;
but a few authors are also contributing a lot to increase engagement through comments;
and some users are maintaining consistency through tutorials and hangouts besides frequently generating content.

But because of inconsistency, we can't include a few users. This week, our community again counted only active new users;
We hope the remaining users will read this curation report carefully to uphold the criteria and follow decency.

We only select posts keeping in mind three categories-

Foremost- Quality.
Second- Engagement.
Third- Consistency

We hope each week, we will get a chance to change the name of the top post;
Regarding quality, engagement, and consistency;
(including tutorial classes and hangouts).

THE BEST QUALITY POST OF THIS WEEK.

মরক্কোর পর্যটক ইবনে বতুতা দীর্ঘদিন এই বাংলায় ভ্রমণ করেন। তাঁর লেখা বই আল- রিহলাত এ তিনি বাঙালির খাদ্যাভ্যাস, জীবন যাপন, আবহাওয়া,পোশাক,কৃষ্টি-কালচার সামাজিক ও অর্থনৈতিক অবস্থা সহ বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে তার অভিজ্ঞতা বর্ণনা করেছেন।

ছোলা খাওয়ার প্রচলন মূলত আফগানদের থেকে এই বাংলায় এসেছে। তখন আফগানিস্তানের কাবুলিওয়ালারা ঝুলিতে করে কিসমিস, বাদাম, খোবানী, খেজুর, আফগানি ছোলা এগুলো সাথে করে নিয়ে আসতেন। কিন্তু ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশে কাবুলি ছোলার প্রচলন খুব একটা ছিল না। পরবর্তীতে কাবলি ছোলার মতো দেখতেই ছোলা বুট কে বিভিন্ন মসলা দিয়ে রান্না করে খাওয়ার প্রচলন শুরু হয়। এটি দীর্ঘ সময় পেট ভরিয়ে রাখত এবং খেতে অত্যন্ত সুস্বাদু হওয়ার কারণে পরবর্তীতে এটি হয়ে উঠেছিল ইফতারের প্রধান খাবার।

পেঁয়াজু, বেগুনি,চপ এগুলো শুরু থেকেই উত্তর ভারতীয় খাবার ছিল। যা বাঙালিরা সানন্দে গ্রহণ করেছে। আর মুড়ি বাঙ্গালীদের অত্যন্ত প্রিয় খাবার হিসেবে পূর্বেই বিরাজমান ছিল।

তবে কাবাব ও হালিম এগুলো মূলত ইরান দেশের খাবার। এছাড়া জিলাপিও এসেছে পারস্য থেকে।তবে জিলাপিকে এই উপমহাদেশে প্রচলিত করেছে মুঘল সম্রাটরা।

Before elaborating on the above portion;

how Iftar food changed and the reasons behind those formations. Some interesting facts she cited in the above related to Iftar food then and now.
