The Stranger and the Owl.

marito74 -

Ohh how beautiful this place is, a paradise like no other! exclaimed the woodpecker as he watched the sun's rays illuminate the tall, leafy apamate and cedar trees; at last a paradise where he could practice his skills and build beautiful nests.

Nearby was the wise owl hidden among the foliage of a huge apamate,it was time for his sleep, his eyes were squinting when suddenly a knock-knock woke him up and it was getting louder and louder which forced him to take a look.

That was how he met the stranger, who with his strong beak seemed to drill into the tree trunk which greatly annoyed the owl who considered this action a grave offense to the forest.

Who are you, stranger? How dare you attack this tree? the woodpecker with that sympathy that characterized him answered: “Hey, I am the woodpecker and I have come to inhabit this place!

The grumpy owl replied, I'm sorry but we don't need annoying outsiders here, disturbing the peace and hurting the trees. The woodpecker smiled and said; Mr. owl, nice to meet you, allow me to introduce myself, I have come from a very cold place in search of a home. Forgive me if I have disturbed your peace it was not my intention.

The owl just looked at him with his huge eyes and the stranger almost got lost in them, then the owl with all his wisdom said: Welcome friend, as long as your intentions are good you can stay, however I would like to ask you something: why do you make holes in the trees?

The carpenter explained to him that he only drilled the dry trees to make nests and fed on larvae which were found in the trees, the owl did not know this. Therefore we should not judge others without knowing them, our education is the best letter of introduction. To rectify is wise, every day we learn something new.
