Those who love me dearly
Do not know what I feel and what I am...
They do not know that one day, Pain
Came to my door and, on that day, entered.
And it is since then that I feel this dread;
This cold that dwells within me and has frozen
The good that Our Lord gave me!
I do not even know where I wander or where I go!!
I feel the steps of Pain, that cadence
Which is already endless torture, which is madness!
Which is already a crazy desire to scream!
And it is always the same sorrow, the same tedium,
The same deep anguish, without remedy,
Following me, never letting me go!...
