COOKING GAS AND MY ORDEAL AS A STUDENT
Good day everyone,
I'm delighted to be a member of this community and today I will sharing with us my visit at the gas station today.
I woke up today to my gas finishing and I must say, it was not quite a good thing adding that it is going to result to an unplanned expense and the price of cooking gas in Nigeria is very high.
I took off to fill the gas at second coming gas station which is located along Nike road in Enugu, Nigeria.
When I got to the gas station, I entered through their main gate and walked straight to the payment room to make payment.
While waiting for my turn to make payment, I looked around to find the list of gas kilo grams and their attached prices.
|GAS KG||PRICE IN NAIRA ₦||PRICE IN STEEM|
After taking note of the gas prices, I decided to buy 12.5 KG which is currently equivalent to 93.75 STEEM.
I made my payment to the cashier and was given a payment receipt.
I picked up my payment receipt and went to the filling spot where I will have to wait for my turn.
I waited a little and it got to my turn and after my cooking gas was filled, I carried it out and boarded a tricycle which took me back home.
The price of goods in my country Nigeria is way too high and it is difficult for average citizens to meet up with their daily needs.
For us students, it is very difficult for us to because food is a basic necessity and there's hardly any alternative for cooking apart from using a cooking gas which is way too expensive.
Some students resolve to the option of using kerosene stove which I personally see no difference because the price of Keresone is also very high and using Keresone stove results results to dirty environment and black pots.
Nevertheless, all hope is not lost because an increase in the price of Steem will help us to easily meet these needs without much stress.
