I believe seeing this application of mine has brought so much joy and relief to my students. Many of them have been looking out for my application, some have even reached out to me to ask if I would love to continue to take them on this journey...you know I thought about this and then I realized one of the various reason why they would want me to continue is because they got value from the lessons.
No doubt, my course is one of the courses that had lot of entries in season 20, not because it stood out as one of the most sought after skill out there but because my student love the approach I used in teaching this skill, hence the reason why many of them could follow up on the course from start to finish.
There is nothing as motivating and fulfilling than seeing that what you do is really impactful. Since there is yet a high demand to go deeper into this skill, I have decided to craft another 6 weeks lesson which will be a build up and continuation on what have been taught so far and it's going to be another journey of discovery and improvement on Graphic design.
Am Dibie Christian from Nigeria with the username @lhorgic on steemit and I would love to take you GRAPHIC DESIGN for season 21. I have been into Graphic design for over 5 years now, it's actually an hobby and a source of income for me. I started my design journey with Photoshop Software, designing great stuffs for individual and organizations and later Switched to Mobile designs, utilizing Canva app.
I have once shared my knowledge on my blog and was equally given an opportunity to share the same in SEC season 20 by the steemit team, those that followed the lesson can attest to how proficient and knowledgeable I am in this field. My goal has always been simple but classic designs. I believe I can also impact this same knowledge into people that are willing to learn this art.
I have decided to leverage on this #teaching initiative to reach out to a wider audience with my skill and help them learn this beautiful skill that won't just be an hobby but a live changing skill that can serve as an additional source of income to them both on and off-chain with my well detailed style of teaching.
Graphic Design is a field that is indeed broad, but for the sake of the limited time we've got, I have decided to come up with something I call a Crash lesson to take us a step further in our journey to becoming a Pro designer. This course content would give us a remarkable result at the end of six weeks,Yeah! Here is my course content for the period of six weeks.
• Week 1: Introduction to Gradients and
Application.
• Week 2: Introduction to Logo Design & Types
• Week 3: Hands On Practicals on Logo Creation.
• Week 4: Mock ups in Design and Application
• Week 5: Hand on Practical Design 1
• Week 6: Hands on Practical Design 2
Note: As my usual custom is, the First three weeks covers the theoretical aspect + a bit of practical while the next three week would be pure practicals...where student will be creating full fledged designs all by themselves
I deemed it fit to show y'all some of the result of my student in season 20, just to show that I made good my promise of teaching them how to make simple fliers from scratch to finish. Below are the designs, showing my design in comparison with theirs. You can hardly tell which is mine if not because I distinguished it by labeling it.

In this season I hope to do much more with my lessons, and of course you would also witness the mind-blowing result they would come up with. I didn't fail to deliver in season 20, neither will I fail to do so in season 21.
• Canva App/Software.
It's important I mention that any nice graphic design app can do these designs but I decided to choose Canva because many of us on the platform use it already and it also doesn't cost much to download...for those who do not have. Moreso I chose it for the sake of uniformity and ease of assessment.
