New to Nutbox?

Trump and Kamala are both liars, but they're entirely different categories of lies.

Like... Trump is braggadocios. He exaggerates to preposterous levels bullshit he believes, and doesn't care at all about just throwing stuff out there in the moment without a care in the world. He lies like he breathes and most of the time probably figures it's true in the moment it leaves his mouth. He lacks consistency, facts, and shame.

Kamala does so methodically and intentionally, planning it out in a way that politicians deem acceptable.

Like... when she says Trump wants to federally ban abortion, she knows it's not true. He specifically said he's opposed to a national ban, and he's obviously not religious or moral or even all that interested. The first justice he floated for the supreme court was pro-choice, and he's probably paid for more abortions than the vast majority of men. When she says Trump is the author of Project 2025, she already knows that ain't true. I don't think he could even read 992 pages of white paper, much less write it or even give a summary for people smarter than him to flush out on his behalf. Much of it contradicts the 2024 GOP platform which he did have a hand in writing personally, to the horror of several different groups of conservatives.

Are there Trump connected people behind 2025? Sure. Could they convince him to adopt some of it's more moderate aspects in the future? Sure. Were conservatives instrumental in, say, who he considered the supreme court in the past? Sure. But that's not what she's claiming.

When Trump inevitably says some mean and sexist things about her and her past, there's a good chance he'll believe them, at least in the moment if not longer.
