For a lot of folks, it feels cucky & humiliating to admire someone else & to try to be more like them
I never could understand that lonely world where you admire no one, but I definitely felt my ego itch when I needed to become more like someone else. I would adopt a lot of things I found beautiful from others, but mainly I would do it quietly, so they can't claim IP :P
Now I tell them directly since I bet they would feel happy someone found something in them valuable that way.
