Hello Steemians,

Welcome to the second week of the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 21, organized by the Dynamic Devs team. This week’s theme was Mastering Arrays with NumPy and Qt5 Design. This challenge aimed to empower participants to understand and manipulate one-dimensional and two-dimensional arrays using Python's powerful library, NumPy, integrating hands-on exercises to create Python applications capable of visualizing data elegantly with the Qt5 library.

Through this topic, we encouraged participants to develop a deeper understanding of both basic and advanced concepts of arrays and matrices, strengthening their skills by performing operations on arrays and designing interactive visual interfaces with PyQt5. This challenge provided a practical, stimulating experience to enhance participants' knowledge of data handling and GUI design in Python.

Participation statistics

During this week, we received a total of 4 entries. Although participation was lower than expected, we are optimistic that future competitions will attract more contributors. Here’s a summary of the performance distribution:

Total number of entriesInvalid entryPlagiarized content

We noticed that while all entries presented commendable effort, not all participants fully adhered to the guidelines promoting the use of the NumPy library, which affected the level of excellence in their submissions.

Entries Breakdown

Content Quality Distribution

Among the entries, 75% were rated as good, and 25% as acceptable. Although the overall quality was positive, there were no submissions that reached the "excellent" rating due to some participants not fully utilizing NumPy as outlined in the competition guidelines.

As we continue, we encourage participants to follow all guidelines closely, especially regarding the required libraries and tools, to ensure maximum quality and adherence to the competition’s goals.

Conclusion

While this week’s competition demonstrated a solid effort, it highlighted the importance of closely following the competition guidelines, especially with regard to using specific libraries like NumPy. We encourage all participants to fully engage with the tools recommended in the challenge to maximize learning outcomes and improve submission quality.

We look forward to future competitions and hope to see more participants join in, benefiting from these original and enriching topics. We thank everyone for their contributions and enthusiasm. Let’s continue building a knowledgeable, skilled community together!
