As a high school student, I had intention of becoming a CBN governor (lol), but you know how it is with children's wishes.
I then got admission to study accounting in one of the foremost private universities in the country, i must confess, i didn’t enjoy it cos of the system of learning. I managed to graduate with 2.2 and did a Master’s in UK in Quality Management, this enjoyed, and that's where my flare for lecturing started and was looking forward to it.
However, when i can back, i thought i will get a lecturing job teaching Management courses, unfortunately that wasnt the case, my first place of work begged me to lecture accounting courses and i almost fainted (lol).
I was encouraged to go back to my old notes and flip through and I will be fine, that they were in dire need of accounting lecturer. And since then, Ive been learning accounting as i taught it. "Great way of learning though"
I've been in the business of lecturing since 2012 at the age of 24.
I must say, the job has exposed me to different people from all walks of life.
More on my accounting journey soon.
