Crew, I Have a Plan ! Darkness & Teamwork

Alright, so, this plan, took a considerable amount of both drinking, and thinking, and conversations with my party members BUT - i believe, i have a way, to fight a Beholder and LIVE.

Its anti magic field, works against itself.

If we stay side by side, instead of at a distance, when it activates its anti magic field, it will not be able to use its eye stalks to fire any of its attacks, defending us from the deadliest affects of petrify & disintegrate.

This will not be easy, but, it is certainly, a play, here is how we do it.

Everyone, stays as close, as possible, to each other, i am talking arms length, or at least near enough to it, so that we all, would be encompassed within the 150ft antimagic cone, when it activates.

When its activated, casters will be out of action however, then Ahrjan the Barbarian can absolute wail on the thing, and Stranger the cleric, can then assist with melle, as magic will be out of action.

Honeydew, Illuminous, and Juniper, will be out of action, while in the magic field, but, if it wants to escape getting pounded to death by the Barbarian and Loki Cleric, its going to have to move, and that means, it will have to drop its antimagic field.

Problem?

No, Ms Honeydew, is going to cast Darkness, on one of Ahrjan's javelin, and as the Beholder moves, and he gets an attack of opportunity, he is going to hurl, that thing, into its back, covering it with Darkness, rendering all its eyes totally useless.

Once that happens she is going to yell to Juniper, to cast Earthbind on it, grappling it to the ground on next turn.

Then, its eyes are blind, all it can do is bite, and turn on or off antimagic field again, allowing 1 whole turn, for the party to nuke that thing into oblivion, Illuminus with his Fireball, Honeydew with her Double Eldritch Blast, Rage Frenzy from Barbarian and Spiritual Weapon from Stranger.

With the eyes taken out of commission, the deadliest threats are removed, and its just a matter of the Barbarian doing its thing, if its antimagic field is on, wack it, if its antimagic field is off, Warlock, Wizard and Druid, unleash hell.

But it only works, if everyone stands together, any other play, and were dead

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention, throw in a scroll of poly morph as needed.
