Panthers Training - My Creative Writing

One day the lone black panther was stalking the prey that he was going to capture and eat but as he was getting closer and closer a pack of pumas jumped down from a tree and tackled the deer before he could get the chance to. So he just walked away not contesting because the puma’s always bully him into giving up his food. They think they’re above him. He headed on home to go and drink some water and try to find some more food because he hadn't eaten in days because of the puma’s. After laying down in his tree for a while thinking about how he could get some more prey, a raccoon walked past his tree and he heard it so he jumped down and caught it. Finally he had caught something to eat and the puma didn't get it first. After that little snack he was still hungry so he decided to go looking for a deer. He ran around for a while until he saw one in the distance. This time he climbed a tree and was going to pounce onto it instead of sneaking behind it. So he aimed himself and punched onto the deer now he could eat and be full. As he started eating the puma showed up and made him move even though he tried to protect it he didn't want to fight all of them.

He decided he needed to train if he wanted to defend against all these puma’s. He decided to go to his dad who is the panther grandmaster. He told his son that he shall train with him tomorrow morning and to meet at the tallest tree. So the panther headed home and found a hog and the hog ran the second it saw him so he chased it until he caught up to it and ate it before heading back home to go sleep. Next morning he went to the tallest tree and saw his father there waiting for him at the very top so he climbed his way up but as he was climbing his father was dropping rocks down hitting the panther making him fall. He asked why and the father told him it's a part of his training. So he tried to climb up once more but got hit again and again. He was furious and said it was unfair, so his father asked, "Are you giving up this training already?””He thought to himself he would be a failure if he gave up already so he did it over a hundred times more until he finally started to get the hang of it. He would dodge left and right dodging all the falling rocks until he finally made it up. Now the real training starts, said the father.

He told the panther to spar with him. So they spared in the tree and as he pounced he nearly fell because the father dodged him. His father said, “You need to be able to fight in the trees without the slightest mistake”. So he tried again but slipped more. This time he was focussed and dashed at the father but as he dodged as normal the panther used a nearby branch to jump up and catch the father mid air. Good son said the father. Now he had to do this a hundred more times in a row each time going to where the father dodged. He spent hours doing it over and over but only getting to twenty seven in a row. He decided to start thinking more about where all the possible places were to dodge until he figured all of them out so he looked around and saw all the branches that could get him there at the same time as his father got there. He used this new trick and got the father ninety tries in a row. Now there were only ten more, but now the father started to dodge after he had dodged nearly getting the panther off guard but he still caught him luckily. Now he had to think if he didn't want to lose his ninety one streak. He calculated all the possible places to dodge after another dodge and completed the training. The father told him he was now ready to deal with those pesky puma’s but make sure to fight them in a tree.
