Miguel de Cervantes was not wrong at all when he placed, as the birthplace and where many of the most subjective and, at the same time, amusing adventures of the most paradoxical of our knights-errant, Don Quixote, take place, one of those white villages, located in that magical region, La Mancha, whose name, for whatever reason, he never wanted to reveal.

That homogeneous region, which in the old books of History and Geography, formed part of Castilla La Nueva -a name that belatedly came to it, when the territories that had been invaded by the Agarean armies for centuries were definitely reconquered- and that we must situate as the gate towards the delicious region of Andalusia, shines with the snowy beauty of its towns.

Villages, where the contrast of the white lime and that red, brownish by the intense sun of the heatwaves, seem, seen in the distance, providential oases, in the middle of a plain full of ancestral vestiges and where, as happened to the intrepid knight, Don Quixote, get carried away by the magic of a thousand and one adventures.
