The World Bank decides to not help El Salvador after all.

This after initially saying they would...

The reason?

They cited environmental as well as transparency issues as the reasoning...

That's ironic...

The entire bitcoin network is public.

That seems like a heck of a lot more transparent than any type of private currency would be, which only needs a handful of people (or less) to go along with malfeasance in order to commit massive fraud...
