Scientific Curiosity; quantum physics looks at us.
We humans believe that we dominate this world, we believe that we know everything and that we are at the peak of scientific knowledge, but it is enough to look back 100 years to see that this is not the case, 100 years ago, the 1920s of the last century were the years of the silent films, these were the years of the first airplanes, there was no television and there were 4 years left before penicillin was discovered, but there was already quantum physics, Max Planck published his works in 1900.
Imagine what the world will be like in 100 years with the push that is going to be given, firstly that we are four times more human than 100 years ago and secondly because we have increasingly powerful computers that accelerate the work of research and even so if We look at our hand, for example, if we dive beyond the skin, the veins, the cells, the molecules and reach the even smaller atoms and particles, then we would see that we are made up of a universe that functions differently than the ours, the one we know, where concepts such as time, space or energy act in a strange way, different with their laws, some that would not make sense in our normal world.
There may even be other dimensions with properties that seem like magic to us, if we could enter one of them, Nietzsche said “when you look for a long time at the Abyss, the Abyss looks back at you”, when I think about quantum physics I have the feeling of being in One bad night, looking at a dark crack in the closet and I think what if we are just the fantastic beings imagined by that darkness we call quantum physics.
