China determined to conquer the Moon.

Souce

China is preparing to achieve something truly impressive, taking humans back to the moon and in a recent event the country revealed to the world one of the most essential elements for this mission, the new lunar spacesuits, which happened in that The event was a spectacle that made clear how determined China is to lead this new space race.

The Chinese space agency spared no effort and exhibited its new suits with astronauts testing them directly in front of the cameras. It was not just a simple demonstration, it was a declaration to the world that China is preparing to land at the lunar South Pole around 2030, a region that awakens the curiosity and interest of scientists and engineers from all over the planet.

But as we all know and getting to the moon is only half of the mission the real challenge begins when the astronauts step on the lunar surface and for that spacesuits are absolutely crucial, now imagine this, from the United States' last nickname mission in 1972 no spacesuit has been to the moon, this means that china has had to reinvent the wheel in terms of technology for lunar suits taking into account the extreme challenges such as the hostile environment of the moon which includes extreme temperatures and that highly abrasive lunar dust which can cause serious damage.

The suits also need to be flexible enough to allow astronauts to walk, work and explore the lunar surface efficiently. At the event held at the China Astronaut Research and Training Center, the full mobility of the suit was shown with the astronauts crouching down. climbing stairs and walking normally, although the full technical details have not yet been revealed, some aspects have already been shared.

The suit appears to be a direct evolution of the Feitian, the Chinese spacesuit which in turn was based on the Soviet Russian Orland model, it appears to be equipped with a multifunctional control panel, flexible gloves, integrated cameras all complemented by an anti-glare visor that offers a panoramic view of the lunar surface.

With around 120 kg of weight when fully equipped and the ability to support the astronaut for up to 8 hours in operations outside the module, this suit according to the Chinese is ready to face the challenges of lunar space, with space suits like these China shows to the world that is truly preparing to make history, taking humanity back to the moon and perhaps paving the way for even more daring missions in the future.
