Greetings,

Let me introduce to you one of the economical and quick-easy recipe in the Philippines. Odong is made of flour, water, and salt. This noodles is manufactured at Visayas and Mindanao. It mostly combined with sardines.

Ingredients:

4 sachets of Odong noodles
1 can sardines
2 eggplant
1 onion
1/2 garlic
Scallions
Magic Sarap seasoning
Edible Oil
4 cups of water

Procedure:

  • 1.Prepare all the ingredients. Wash and slice the vegetables.
  • 2.Heat oil in a pan. Saute garlic and onions. Then add the sliced eggplants and stir fry.

  • 3.After 5 minutes add the sardines and crushed it. Pour water and bring to boil.

  • 4.Add the Odong noodles and cook for another 8 minutes.

  • 5.Season with Magic Sarap and stir. Garnish with chopped scallions and done.

I made this recipe for 30 minutes. This Odong Recipe cost less than 100 pesos (8.55STEEM) and can serve 5 to 6 persons. And it can be eaten with rice.
