What do you think makes a game or activity more enjoyable when everyone plays along?
I think it is the interaction that makes a game or activity more enjoyable when everyone plays along. For example, in a football game, you will see supporters shouting and praising their players to score a goal or each time a player is closer to the post they will start shouting for the player to score. Listening to all these and many more that usually take place when people are playing football or any game usually makes the game enjoyable.
Have you ever been in a situation where someone didn’t play along? How did it affect the experience?
Yes, I have ever been in a situation where someone didn't play along despite how I was doing for the person to play along she still didn't play along. I feel tired of the person and allow her to be for a while. At some point, I felt embarrassed because it was as if I was disturbing the person to do things of my own will.
How do you think playing along can help build stronger friendships or connections?
I think playing along can help build stronger friendships because the more we come together to play the more we get to understand each other better and build connections among ourselves. The more people come together or gather to play the more they build stronger relationships.
Have you ever played along with a joke or story even when you didn’t fully understand it? What was that like?
Yes, I have ever played along with a joke even when I didn't fully understand it. I was returning from school when I met my lodgemate in the compound where I was staying debating and shouting, I quickly joined them in their conversation which got everyone laughing and looking at me seeing where is this one coming from. They were bargaining on who was the best musician in Nigeria among the two musicians they were talking to I came into their discussion and mentioned a musician outside the discussion.
In what ways do you think playing along can enhance creativity in a group setting?
Playing can enhance team performance by stimulating team members' imagination, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. Also, play helps to reduce stress improve communication, and as well foster a positive culture. When people come together to play they get to know what area of life they are good in.
