A couple of months ago, I shared a post about receiving a cactus plant as an appreciation for working hard for an inauguration program. Ever since then, that little cactus plant has been on my table as my little companion. I used to have a cactus plant on my study table at home, so it is very exciting to have one in the office too. I start my day at the office by checking on it and watering when it needed.

Our office is very green because we have several indoor plants and a tiny plant corner too. There is this one climbing plant which I don’t know the name of, and I heard that we can grow plants from that. I immediately wanted to have that plant on my table and the aunty who works as a non-academic staff here willingly helped me with it. So a new friend was added to my table. They help to give my table a very pleasant vibe and I feel happy whenever I see them.

One of the staff had been noticing my interest in these plants and she asked me to look after hers as well since she hadn’t even watered it once. I started watering it once in a while after that and keeping it outside with mine to expose to the sunlight. I noticed recently that my cactus plant is growing bigger for that tiny pot, so I asked a favor from aunty again to help me to transfer it to a bigger pot. We changed the other cactus plant’s post as well while we were on it. she gave her plant to my sole custody after that, so it was added to my table too.

It has literally become a mini-garden now 😅

Luckily, my table in the office is very tidy and unlike my study tables in boarding and home. Therefore, I can afford to slowly turning it to a mini-forest 😁

Thanks for reading!

Have a nice day!
