The Highlight of Saturday's Meet-Up

Hey Friends! I wanted to share with you all about the amazing meetup that took place last Saturday. It was a general meetup for users in my city and it was a huge success! I actually made an announcement about it 6 days prior, saying that it was to celebrate my 3rd-year anniversary on this amazing platform. And let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing!
I became a six-dolphin status a few weeks ago and many of my city's users were curious about how I managed to do it. So, I seized the opportunity to organize a general meetup to reach a wider audience and celebrate my three years of dedication, commitment, and consistency with fellow users from my city.
*We had a great turnout, with more than 30 people attending. We all had a lot of fun, got to know each other better, and left feeling revitalized and determined never to give up come what may! *
The meetup was anchored by a fellow user @bossj23 and we all introduced ourselves by our usernames. It was a lot of fun because some stated the reason behind their usernames. Another user @ngoenyi briefly discussed what Steemit is all about because there were interested ones among us. She explained that Steemit is a social media like no other, that it rewards both content creators and curators, and that one doesn't need thousands of followers or likes before they gets rewarded.
Then, it was my turn to share with others how I reached my milestone. I encouraged everyone to be consistent, original, creative, active, contented, and thankful. These beautiful qualities are what we need to succeed. We have to appreciate what we have and be thankful for the little rewards we are receiving now, and bigger ones will come.
I emphasized the importance of powering up because it's the only way we can grow our account. I urged everyone to join any club system they are comfortable with, and most importantly, save for rainy days so that they won't be forced to power down their accounts. I encouraged them to support one another through meaningful comments and upvotes.
Another user @benton3 did a fantastic job explaining how Steem works, emphasizing the importance of being supportive. He also explained what burnsteem25 is all about and its importance to the ecosystem. It helps in reducing the supply of Steem, which will make the demand for Steem higher than the supply, thus making the coin price stabilize and grow.
Afterward, the floor was open for questions, and we answered all to their satisfaction. And then, it was time for me to celebrate my third anniversary! I cut the cake and took many photographs to capture the beautiful and happy faces of everyone in attendance.!
I hope you enjoyed hearing about our meetup and all the fun we had. I wanted to share some of the pictures with you, so you can see our emotions for yourself!

After that we danced, thanks to Ngoenyi who brought her MP3, it breathed life into the occasion, we danced and enjoyed ourselves, and we drank wine, ate cake, drank juice, soft drinks, and egg rolls/biscuits. We got to know ourselves, my city people are the most active Nigerians on the platform!
I'm grateful to all those who honored the invitation and celebrated with me, most especially @ngoenyi who sourced the venue and prepared the sumptuous egg rolls, and @bossj23 too. In fact, you are all special in your different ways and you're darling!
