After dinner ... "where do we take the kids to play?" asked my wife. Indeed, we have visited several playgrounds in Langsa City, but I remembered there was a new children's playground called KIDZ PLAYSPACE, "okay, let's take the kids there" I replied convincingly, and we made preparations.
Before 8pm we moved to the playground located on Jalan Teungku Chik Di Paya Bakong, Langsa City, right next to Station Coffee Premium. The children's adrenaline and enthusiasm for playing continued to spur when they started walking from the parking lot to the game building. From the outside, there were already other children jumping on the trampoline, making my children impatient to enter the play area.
We have prepared socks, so there is no need to buy at the ticket purchase table, the price of admission to the game area is 45000 Rupiah (17 Steem) for a two-hour duration of play, this price is quite affordable and the rides provided are quite interesting and make children happy.
The first ride that my kids played was the trampoline, because it was located on the right after the entrance gate, Keenan, my youngest son, jumped up and down without balance and bounced around. Then after they were satisfied with jumping, they went into the ball pool which had a lot of fun games too, there was a swing, but that didn't seem very interesting to my kids.
Their favorite game was the ball trip (as I call it), where the small plastic balls in the pool are put into a pipe hole, then the balls are flung up and through the pathways until they finally come back down and collect at the bottom.
There is also a climbable obstacle course with small bridges, nets and lots of suspended cushions, which is connected to three different types of slides. The first slide was patterned like a piano and when sliding down it, there would be lights on the keyboard, which I thought was cool, and I became interested in trying to slide down it as well.
Next to it is another slide shaped like a hallway with a mix of pink and white colors like a lollypop. The children were even more enthusiastic about another slide next to it in blue, this one shaped like a descent in a multi-storey parking lot in tall building.
Spending two hours playing in this play zone succeeded in making my children feel satisfied, this can be seen from their response when invited home to end their play time, in this case Kahfi became the key holder, because usually when asked to stop playing he will give a cynical facial expression and with an affirmative voice "No!".
I am very happy to invite children to play on rides like this, in this article I also want to tell Steemians all about the benefits of playing in the playground for child development:
Improves Social Skills
When your child meets other children at the playground, it can help stimulate and train their confidence to interact socially. In addition, children will also learn about social norms, sharing, and cooperation. This is very important, so that later the child can adapt easily when in the school age phase.
Helps Brain Development
Playing freely can improve children's neurological development. Because playing on the playground can help children to practice everything they have learned, this can certainly increase intelligence. In addition, the benefits of playing on the playground can also increase children's cognitive abilities, for example in understanding the concept of each game.
Build Physical Strength
The playground is a place that can help children physically become stronger. Various games available on the playground such as slides, swings, or climbing walls can keep children actively moving, so that they can build their physical strength by automatically training their arms, legs, body, and whole body to be stronger and healthier.
