Hello Friends, how are you all? I am doing well 😊. Today I am here to participate in the Power up and win contest organised by @jyoti-thelight mam. It’s actually a good opportunity to increase your steem power. So let’s begin with my post.

Here is the step by step process which I followed to complete my power up:

Step 1:

I first opened my wallet by clicking on the top right corner. As you can see in the screenshot below👇

Currently I have 63.607 Steem which I am going to power up:

Step 2:

I entered the amount of steem that I wanted to power up. And clicked on power up button below.

Step 3:

After I clicked power up, the “Confirm Transfer to Vesting” screen popped up for the confirmation as you can see below 👇

I clicked on Ok to give the further confirmation

Step 4:

After confirming, I then logged in my wallet to complete the transfer 👇:

I then clicked on Sign in, and as you can see now in the below screenshot the power up was completed 👇:

After the power up, now my steem power is 151.847. With this I completed the entire process.

Importance of performing Power Up:

By performing the power up process on steemit we gain more value for our votes. We can also have more impactful votes.
It also increases our influence on the platform and gives us more power to hold on to.
It also displays our intent to be on the platform for a long term which will be beneficial for the community as well as the platform. It will enable us to grow.
It also gives us a chance to earn more curation rewards.

I hope this motivates others to power up as well and help each other to grow. This is my second time performing it and I intend to do so consistently. Thanks to @jyoti-thelight for continually encouraging us to do so.
