Hello the good people in Steem kids & parents community. I am sure your Sunday is going smoothly.
Today was a traditional service in church. It was actually women day. Although, it wasn't the church where I normally worship. A friend of mine invited me to his church and everyone was appearing on wrappers.
I will like to explain what traditional Sunday service is all about. I will do it in two comprehensive forms:
What is Traditional Sunday service?
To some people anything traditions should not be associated with God house, but it is not so. The church is operated under the guides of rules and regulations. Once in awhile, churches operate a traditional service whereby men and women wear traditional attires and the service may be handled in the native language of the main worshippers, like igbo, hausa, yoruba or Ibibio.
Traditional food
Like today most of the Ibibio foods were prepared and we ate happily. This in accordance to the season of celebratcelebration of Christmas 🎄
The event started by 10am through 1pm. If I say I have fun, it will be an understatement. But the event was fun-filled. In fact, below are the photos of the event.
