Hello steemians,

I am very glad to present to you today how animals feed are been produced locally in my community.

Animals like fowl, duck, Guinea fowl and among others feed on basic domestic house hold particles and termites which are their favorite if you ask me. It sometimes becomes very difficult when these particles and food source are not available.

In other to prevent these domestic animals from starving and growing very lean, the brain of man kind has been put to use by using Cow dung to produce termites for their consumption.

Cow dung as we all know composed of fully organic manure and these manure in the present of small heat and an enclosed humidity of soil leads to the production of termites rapidly.

Today, I will be showing with you how this is done in my community. First and fare most, the requirement or tools needed include

  • Stick
  • Dry cow dung
  • Heavy Stone
  • One side open can.

After getting all these things, the first thing to do is to use the stick to hit the dry cow dung to make it break into small pieces.

Breaking the dung

After doing this, transfer the small pieces in the one side opened can and fill it to be full. You can choose to add some organic compounds the the termites might feed on after they are been produced if you will not be there for a longer period.

You can then then turn it upside down with the opened place facing the ground. Compress it very well and put your heavy stone on it to prevent from turning over. Leave it there for 24 hours and then come back to open it.
