In the late 90s and early 2000s,
Teen comedies were filled with actors who weren't teens,
But in Down to You, a different story unfolds,
With characters slightly older, breaking the mold.

Alfred dreams of becoming a famous chef,
While Imogen is an artist, finding herself.
Their romance blooms, but soon falls apart,
Leaving Al heartbroken and trying to restart.

Set in the world of New York art,
With quirky characters playing their part,
Down to You tries to be more adult,
But falls short with a PG-13 result.

Despite some likable scenes, the film falls flat,
Leaving viewers feeling like they've seen that.
Prinze and Stiles do their best,
But the cliches remain, failing the test.

So for those who are fans of the stars,
Down to You might leave some scars,
But for others looking for something new,
This film might not be the right view.
