That's right! As you said,

"Skill is the basic ability to achieve a desired goal by making use of talent, labor and time by performing assigned duties.

I also support your views. "Achieving real success is not possible without professional skills. Because teaching is also a great career."

✅ What is meant by professional skills?

Before I answer your question, I will tell you a story.

The story started when I was in a high-profile private sector company in the technical field of manufacturing communication products. We were passing through a time when our emphasis was on cost-cutting but providing better technology than our competitors. our company advertised for a top-level job requiring a high-level technical project management expert, especially R&D. As usual, the company soon received several applications.

The concerned officers of the company went through all the applications and selected a few applicants after preliminary interviews. The candidates who had almost similar qualifications appeared for interviews but some of them were rejected based on their answers and mannerisms.

Now, there were only two left in the race with almost similar qualification similar experiences, and even a similar age group. The selectors were confused so they thought out a criterion to finally decide the most suitable one.

The director of technology provided both of them with a project and a similar amount each for completion of the project. They had to complete their project within a fortnight.

They both came back on the scheduled day. But to the surprise of the management, both projects were ditto, so it all came to their expenses.

Candidate #one has spent all the budget but the candidate #two spent almost 10% of his allocated budget.

HR Manager was confused so he asked candidate #2 "How did you manage your project for such a low budget?"

He responded with a smile, "I kept following my competitor and noted down whatever he did. He spent on research components, but I did nothing but keep an eye on him and his shopping trends."

A smile on the face of everyone's presence in the room!

✅ What to do to increase professional skills?

We should bring equality to our workforce if we want to see improvement in our work. We should follow the same work standards and trends on our continent if we want similarities in our work with the rest of the world.

We are already overstaffed, and most of our fellow citizens need government jobs because they do not consider private jobs as proper jobs. We need to treat all workers on equal terms wherever they work, whether in the private or government sector.

Anyone has the right to suggest or even rebel peacefully against society or the state, but in a proper way. See, what's going on in our subcontinent at the mob level? I agree if you feel you are not getting proper treatment or your rightful share, you have the right to do so. Equality is one of the reasons and also counts in this list. No government should give unreasonably to people who do not deserve it.

✅ What professional skills are in high demand in your country?

I could have answered in a typical way and said, doctors, engineers, software developers, etc., but for me, the best examples include firefighters, cleaners, miners, nurses, soldiers, teachers, police, or even laborers building roads, but I hope to live in a universe where all workers are treated on equal terms.

I know I cannot prove or disapprove of the existence of good or bad in our politicians and bureaucrats. The term 'superiority complex’ should be deleted from the dictionary of our bureaucrats and politicians because once elected or selected, they behave like they have come from any other planet or they do not belong to this world. I hope you are getting what I mean.

The way politicians and bureaucrats work for each other's benefit is obvious and disgusting, which makes a commoner feel low and think his future is unsafe in their hands. Do you think some of these are here too, or these are here for a reason?

Note: We all know that Smart work pays but we should use our knowledge. We should not become part of the mob but develop our own skills.

I have decided to highlight the importance of industrial espionage within business ethics, which is very much in demand now. But let me add that industrial espionage is increasing at a fast pace but this is certainly not ethical if someone considers it to steal other people's hard work.
