Steem-Agro Drawing Contest 07: Agriculture Through Art: Drawing a flower pot

As we all know, agriculture is one of the most important sector in every country, so it can never be overestimated. @ahsansgarif is really encouraging us in this field and I'll be drawing my flower pot through this contest.

• A plain sheet paper
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Coloured pens
•Sharpener

• I started by drawing the side of the flower pot. I drew an oval shape tho a litter bigger, then I added a top to the oval shape. This I did by drawing a rectangle tho kind of slanting and joined it to the flower pot.

• My next step was drawing the bottom of the flower pot. Then I added designs to my flower pot. I added a wavy line as a design on my flower pot and also added some diagonal lines.

• A flower pot without a flower is incomplete so my next step was to add a flower and my flower pot was ready.

• The next step was adding colours to my flower pot and flowers for beauty or aesthetic purpose. So I choosed some colours for my flowers and also different colours for my flower pot. I used colour to also make a design on my flower pot and then I completed it.

• A flower pot can be of different designs so I decided to add another flower pot to the first one in order to have two different flower pots with different designs and my work was done.

Flowers are one of the most beautiful creations of God. They come in different types, different colours with different values. Flowers signify love, Romans, beauty, celebration etc.

• Flowers helps in reproduction and multiplication. Now flowers are always colourful and beautiful, attracting insects, birds and butterflies. These insects and birds transfer pollen from flower to flower leafing to making of seeds and from these seeds, other flowers are formed.

• Seeds when planted, grow to become flowers before becoming full plants which we use for different purposes like consumption. Meaning that without flowers, we would be starved of food.

• Some flowers are used for perfumes, which when sold, can bring money so it helps in financial situations.

• Flowers are used for decoration purposes. It beautifies and promote the environment.

• Flowers improve our emotional wellbeing. We feel loved when we receive flowers from people. We feel treasured.

•Flowers serve as food for animals and even some organism. We also use flower to make some drinks and also used in foods. Example, the hibiscus flower is used to make zobo drink.

There are many other uses of flowers too numerous to mention, flower is part of our creation that makes our lives positive.
