To be honest in my own opinion,I think and believe that homework helps in an unimaginable ways. Homework helps to reinforce what was learnt in the classroom thereby fostering retentiveness in students. Homework is a booster according to my teacher back then in school,he says that homework helps you to develop a critical and problem solving skills which boost your confidence and academic performance.

But it should be done at a moderate level in other for you not to get burnout or stressed, there should be a balance. A 30-1 hour time spent on homework is ideal. Homework helps students to be a good time manager,it prepares them for future success as well as being informed.

How do you feel when you have a lot of homework?

Honestly, when I have a lot of homework to attend to,it makes me feel overwhelmed and stressed. This is because It will look as if I am drowned in a seemingly insurmountable sea of assignments with deadlines attached to it which literally leaves me exhausted. If I have a lot of homework,it means that I will have to sacrifice my precious time with loved ones,I won't be able to enjoy my extra curricular activities and personal things of interest that brings joy and fulfilment to me.

Again, the weight of responsibility to complete all on time makes feels scorching and it makes me want to question the purpose and value of such workload on me. Rather,I long for a balanced and manageable workload which allows me to explore new ideas and develop meaningful connection with the material instead of just rushing to get done with it. I yearn for time to relax, recharge and refocus knowing that a healthy balance between academics and personal life is essential for my general well-being and happiness.

Can you think of ways homework could be made more useful and enjoyable?

If am to say,I would say that homework could be made more useful and enjoyable if certain approaches are introduced. This approaches may include "games, project based learning which will allow students to explore topics deeply as the collaborate with their peers.

In conclusion, homework when balanced and engaging reinforces learning, makes students/children to be critical thinker's but where as there's excessive of it,it may lead to stress, burnout and diminished academic enthusiasm.

I am inviting these steemians to participate,
