Himachal celebrates all year round! Holi and Diwali are big, but local festivals like Kullu Dussehra's giant chariot procession are unique. Want shopping? The Lavi fair has local goodies, while Minjar fair thrills with masked dancers.


Dress to Impress (Himachali Style!)


The clothes here are a sight! Women wear colorful Ghagras and Kurtis, sparkling with silver jewelry. Men look comfy in Dhotis or Churidars, topped with cool Himachali caps.


Foodie Paradise


Himachali food is simple but yummy. Try Siddu, steamed dumplings it takes time and skill to prepare but once it prepared then you can't stop yourself to eat it. Dham, a giant feast on a leaf plate. Don't miss Kullu Trout, a special fish dish, and Sepu Badi, crispy lentil fritters. And no trip is complete without a cup of famous Kangra Tea and beautiful view of mountains. There is another delicious dish named tudkiya bhat which is basically himanchali pulao which in cooked in pahadi way .

Himachal Pradesh is like paradise for us Indians, especially for those who want to explore the mountains. People here embrace Tibetan culture, which is a unique culture in the world that believes in peace. River rafting in the Beas River here is a truly beautiful experience.

Himachali music and dance are all about religion and fun. The Nati dance by women is a joyful explosion of color. Men perform Kharait and Losar Shona Chuksam dances telling stories of bravery. Traditional instruments like the Algoza and dhol fill the air with festive vibes.


Souvenirs that Shine


Himachal is a handicraft haven. Get a world-famous Pashmina shawl, soft and luxurious. Look for carpets with amazing patterns and beautiful metalware like engraved jewelry. Wood carvings on houses and temples showcase the region's artistic heritage.
