Hello friends and welcome to my article in this episode of SLC22-W1 I would love to thank @anasuleidy for great post in this season, in this great conquest I would be attempting all questions and coming up with answers in my best possible way.

Say in your own words and based on what was explained in class: What is law?

Law is a set of laid down rules and regulations which guides a society, designed to regulate social vices and bring about more disciplined individuals to grace the society. It guides the actions, decision-making and behavioral conduct of the individuals that live in a society or a given state.

The law of a nation offers approach to bringing forth more successful citizens in the country, reducing crime rate and fostering unity in the country. These laws aid national growth, providing hope and sustainability in terms of security, nation building and otherwise in all the state do.

CASE STUDY: A citizen is driving a vehicle on the road and disregards the traffic light. Seconds later he is stopped by a traffic police officer and this citizen claims that he disregarded the traffic light because he was in a hurry to pick up his son and take him to the hospital because he is feeling unwell.

We need to have a basic understanding of Subjective and Objective Laws.

Objective Laws: These are mandatory laws that govern society without fear or favor, elite and commoners alike covering every individual involved in the nation.

Subjective Laws: These laws questions and respond to actions and individual put up, backing up decisions they make which in some way could deter decision which could be questionable but actually are response to special circumstances.

Objective Case from case study in view;
All things being equal the breaching of the traffic light signs is an irrational decision on the part of the man, he is demanded by the law to be discipline and obey these signs, disobedience means breaking the traffic rules.

Subjective Case from case study in view;
An emergency is a subjective case to say, in this instance it is a life-saving opportunity which justifies his actions, he had clear intentions on his emotional activity and thus his actions being backed up effectively.

Based on what you have explained in class, make a comparison and according to the law of your country. Give an example of a law and an example of a norm.
sourcespecial laws differ from societal norms!

Laws emphatically are norms which are compulsory and mandatory which when flouted attracts the wrath of the law which are extreme measures and penalty.

Norms are actually rules which are not mandatory but would not be taken so sternly if they are flouted, they are basically good social vices which should be followed and upheld.

Analogy

A young man living in a big flat in the compound loves bringing women and throwing little parties. His girls comes around they drink and yell when intoxicated by the alcohol. Their neighbors are disturbed so badly and complain to the owner of the house. It becomes a big issue as he is surely warned and threatened eviction

So therefore the law of land ownership allows a citizen who has paid for an apartment enjoy his stay in such apartments till his rents expire. Once all documents of residency are fulfilled and signed. Its really a good law.

The norm of the land gives citizens free rights too, right to life, dignity of human person, freedom of speech and good life. Now the culprit here has the right to live his life and drink as much as he wants, but infringing on others right for your desires is defiling others right too. Therefore, flaunting the norms guiding the society.

CASE STUDY: Mr. Juan Perez rents an apartment but his financial situation is getting worse and he has not paid for 3 months. On one occasion, a meeting of apartment owners was held and the owner of the apartment where Mr. Juan Perez lives brought the case to the attention of the owners of the other apartments. They took the opportunity to say that they have received complaints from the neighbors of the building because Mr. Juan Perez has 4 dogs as pets in his apartment, something that is prohibited in the building's rules of coexistence.
Analogy:

Violation Of Law: On renting the apartment, an agreement of compliance of renting and payments so therefore a breach in contract of putting co-tenants in danger as threat of the dog barking makes them unsafe is actually breaking the law and at such, he could be remanded and evicted by the law or penalty.

Violation of Norms: The dogs in his apartment are pets and on the other hand. They also constitute nuisance, although no law guiding against that. The norm of peace and tranquility is infringed upon, denying co tenants peace and tranquility.

sourcetenancy agreement must be upheld!
Explain in your own words what importance comparative law has for you according to what you have seen in class

Comparative laws access laws in comparisons to other factors or federations, thus implementing notions similar to the jurisdiction of other states. It involves borrowing some basic trends upheld in these countries and incorporating them into your own state. These are the great importance of the comparative law.

These laws in most cases aid international legal bodies, as they borrow legal approaches from various countries incorporating in their system to being more efficient in their legal duties.
