Another Win

This year is a special one for srilankan cricket fans.Because they were able to gain more interesting wins against best teams. It was started with the India series, then Srilanka team played really good cricket against England , New zealand and West indies and they gained historical wins with this series as well. I think you already know about the Nz tour of Srilanka. T20 series against Nz was finished with a tie.Yes there have a point about the pitch. What you think about that??? Yeah in home condition , we have the chance to make the pitch in our own way, But I think we should consider about this once again. Because if we play like this in every match we will have a trouble when play in England, South Africa , Australia and NZ countries.however today Im going to write about second ODI match against Nz .

First match Srilanka got a easy win with the brilliant performances of Kusal mendis and Avishka Fernando.So then 2nd and most important match was held yesterday in pallekale cricket ground.Charith Asalanka won the toss and he decided to bowl first. By proving his decision Srilanka bowlers bowled really well and they were able to limit Nz scoreboard to 209 runs within 47 overs.Yeah it looks like a easy target but the pitch was helped to spinners more and more.At one time Srilanka was in a truble but Kusal mendis played a valuable knock once again in this match.So he scored 74 runs with a injury. Finally Srilanka won the match by 3 wickets and got another series win. By this win Srilanka came to 5th place in ODI team ranking.
