Monotony can affect our passion.

Generally as human beings we look for something to be made much simpler, we wish in some way that a task or action is always the same since the new causes fear and uncertainty, it tests us anyway. If our walk with God has become monotonous, let's change right now!
While I am going, occupy yourself with reading, exhortation and teaching. 14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you through prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. 15 Take care of these things; abide in them, so that your advantage may be manifest to all. 16 Take care of yourself and of doctrine; persist in it, for by doing this you will save yourself and those who hear you.
1 Timothy 4:13-16
Let's now imagine a very cold day, a winter day in the morning, we get up and if we have a fireplace with a fire at our disposal in which we can warm ourselves, we do not hesitate for a second and we feel attracted by this heat, In the same way those new believers or people who do not yet know God are attracted to those Christians who are passionate about the Lord, these are like that fireplace with a burning fire that attracts those who desire warmth.
The Lord Jesus Christ fervently desires that we be like a city set on the top of the mountain, he desires that we be light in the midst of darkness, illuminating all humanity with hope and the gospel of redemption.
14 You are the light of the world; A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do you light a light and put it under a bushel, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Matthew 5:14-15
