A few days ago my mother had received the call from the office of the vice governor of our province telling her that the financial assistance that she applied for to that office had been granted and that she was told to claim it the day after. So my mother did got the money and then used the money to buy some of the stuffs that we needed here in the house, things like food supplies and such.
They also bought some fast food and one of those are some fried chicken meal. Now my mother of course ate some of the chicken but she had developed an allergy about consuming chicken over the years already. So the inevitable had happened and now she is coughing incessantly. I told my mother to take some NAC because it would allow her to thin-out the viscosity of the phlegm in her airway so that she can easily let it out in order to cure her cough.
Now my mother is already having a hoarseness when she talks and I just feel sorry for her. The trigger was just her allergy and because of that her overall condition is just so difficult to deal with. She is not even responding to all anti-allergy medications except Loratadine which I had made her take for that reason because of trial and error.
I also sometimes suffer from allergic rhinitis, that thing where you get an itchy nose with runny nose and resembles a flu, minor fever sometimes which a few years ago I thought was CoViD because I rarely get it but with just a few days it resolves itself up by me taking some paracetamol and carbocisteine because with that type of seasonal allergy you can also have some cough issues and it really is so very annoying to suffer from.
Now the mode of action that we are doing right now for my mother's allergy attack is for her to continue on using N-acetylcysteine (NAC) and has been my supplement as well for the last few months already for the reason of its anti-oxidant effect in my body and to help support my lungs and my liver because it also raises glutathione which is a powerful antioxidant which means that it protects the body's cells from oxidative stresses.
Aside from this type of immune system support, my mother also takes vitamin C regularly which is why she doesn't catch colds anymore. Almost non of us here in the house ever catches cold for the reason that we always make it sure that we take vitamin C everyday because of my experience that vitamin C really does a great protection against cold virus and maybe any other viruses for that matter. Our environment and also the foods that we consume are basically polluted with things that hurts our bodies in many ways more than one so we just needed to make some changes about how we live like changing our lifestyles and it we can make a big difference even with such small changes in diet and supplementing with sensible substances like a simple and cheap vitamin C can actually make improvements in our overall health.
