"Contest alert !!! || "My Favourite Moments in 2024".

Greetings to you my amazing friends and steemians of this beautiful community. Favourite moments can be regarded as events or period which are placed with special liking or favour. At one point or the other in our lives, we have moments we regard as our best time. We often have butterflies in our tommies each time I remember such moments.

What are the two moments from 2024 that you will cherish forever? Tell us why?

The two moments from 2024 I'll forever cherish include:

1. The day I got admission for my Post Graduate Diploma program in Public health. I applied for this program December last year, 2023. I was super excited when I got an offer mail in the second week of January this year. I didn't even know when I shouted and lept for joy. I just couldn't wait to know when we were to resume to start our registration and documentation. I kept checking my mail and the school's official site for an update. Public health has been my dream course and I've been nursing this ambition since after graduating from the university. My first degree was in Biochemistry.
2. My second most favourite moment was our high school reunion. This event took place August this year. It was fun-filled as we all try to recall some funny old moments while still in the high school. It was a lovely moment for us all as we ate, drank, cracked jokes and played games.

Did you achieve any goals or milestones this year? If yes, share with us.

Yeah. I was able to achieve some goals this year. This include earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health, certificate courses in professional detailing and marketing skills for medical representative and getting promoted from sales to marketing in my company.

Did you travel anywhere this year that left a lasting impression on you?

Yes I did travel this year to Kebbi State, a State located in the Northwestern part of Nigeria. It was a fun-filled and at the same time, exhausting trip cos I traveled by road. It was fun-filled as I passed through various states, coming from Abuja, the Nigerian Federal Capital Territory. Exhausting because it was a 14-hour trip by road. Birnin Kebbi is a lovely and beautiful state known for its hospitality. The state is a centre for rice distribution across Nigeria. It also produces other local food like fish, goat, cattle, millet, sorghum.
Argungun is a town in Kebbi State that host the annual fishing festival. It is the biggest fishing festival in Nigeria.

What are your expectations for 2025 and what are the things which you don't want to repeat in the upcoming year?

One of my biggest expectations for the year 2025 is to own a piece of land where I can start developing it. I know it's not going to be an easy task but I'm trusting in God and working towards that.

Things I don't want to repeat in the upcoming year is unnecessary expense. Looking at the huge project I have at hand, I will have to be financially disciplined and ensure that every penny I spent should be worth the spending. I don't want to give any room for financial recklessness in the coming year.
