What are table manners? Explain some examples.
This is the socially acceptable way to eat your food, especially when eating a meal with others.
Examples are;
a)Eating slowly.
b)Chew with your mouth closed and
c) Do not talk while eating
d)Wash your hands before and after meal.
Do you think children should be taught table manners or wait till they are grown, before they can learn it?
Yes, Children should be taught table manners.
Because the earlier the best, as the bible even quoted it in Proverb 22:6 which says; Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
Children can be taught through practical ways, whereby the adults practice good table manners. Table manners have to be taught because children don’t have the skills to observe and logically infer correct table manners.
What is the most tasking table manners for you? Share with us.

The most tasking table manner for me is Talking while eating.
As a human being, I find it difficult to eat without talking especially with family members, except when eating with stranger or not familiar people I won’t talk.
Is it best to avoid a meal on the menu because you can’t pronounce the name? Have you ever done it?
Yes, I think it is best to avoid a meal because you can’t pronounce it,
It has happened to me once, I went to a restaurant one sunny afternoon, there, they waiter brought the menu list, I stared at it, and was thinking of the kind of food I will pick, so there, I saw a food named “ofe uchakiri” I tried pronouncing the food various times but could not, so later, I called the waiter and asked him to prepare the particular mea, he said which of them.
I want to use this opportunity to invite @khayjhay @lusciouslucy and @alexanderpeace to participate in this great contest.
Thanks
