What I would do better if I can travel back in time

Hello friends!

It is a nice topic to delibrate on. We have at one time or the other thought it wise to be better off given how far we lived our lives, through decision making, and how best we managed opportunities and events that occurred. Let's delve into the main views on the topic.

What are the things you think you should have done better.

As humans, we are bound to pass through difficult moments, happy moments, and uncertainties. These are the yardsticks that make up the buildup of how best we could judge our decision-making over time and how they have come out to represent us.

My career path is one that I would have improved on by patiently waiting and enrolling into the university space with this goal. Medicnes and Surgery is one course that I would have loved to have enrolled in. It is one of the courses that comes with so much call to service. It was best for my personality.

My decision to jump into the university was because my peers were gaining admission and the fear of not catching up with my peers blind folded by decision for my destined and dream career. It is obvious that when we do not achieve our dream career path, we continue to struggle with our new found path most at times.

I am more patient and with commensurate understanding to handle situations of such now. It is not all about how fast we want to run or follow the crowd because they are moving on a particular path. It is finding value, peace, and satisfaction with what we want. Peace of mind is the watch word.

However, it has dawned on me with my present career path. I had the opportunity to continue with my lost job offering, but I didn't know merit alone does not really matter in typical job confirmation in my dear country. I am a young man, promising, and still full of energy to deliver on tasks effectively. I was focused on doing my task and this earned me so much result but it failed me.

Spreading my tentacles and lobbying was another thing i didn't pay attention to. This was also a more deciding factor that counted against my confirmation. After 6 months of an intensified performance appraisal, the back-end report showed i outshine my partner, but it wasn't successful for me. This is typical of the saying "all that glitter is not gold".

I know i would do well today if presented with these challenges again. Issues of life doesn't wait for our readiness, hence some of regrets we exhibit.

How long did it take you to realize you missed that privilege or opportunity to do something better, and how did you feel.

If we are truthful to ourselves, we usually tend to count our losses or regrets when in troubles or when things are not moving in our favour. I realized after my ordeal with my job. This was when i sat myself down and went through the memory lane. This ws actually years after my graduation in school to know that I shouldn't be doing a sales job but rather a service delivery job to save humanity.

For the latter, when it dawned on me I was not confirmed was when I knew i should have been more liberal and conscious about the job other than just working for performance. That was Fyer the deed has been done.

It is usually a sad one because the only thing that comes to our mind is, "had I know". Eack time it is used, we tend to blame ourselves or regret our actions earlier in an event. In all, life must continue and must live it with lessons

Give advice to your reader who might be treading at the moment the same path as you

My advice is simple, let's be patient enough and handle issues as they come our way with wisdom. Waiting and achieving our dream is paramount other than rushing in a skewed direction that gets us short-lived.

Also, we have to be conscious of our working environment and be active in all fonts. We don't need to be monotonous in our work approach. We nned to spread our tentacles as much as we could carry along.

The terrain is a competitive one, and that needs us to stay a step ahead of our contemporaries. This is a life wire that will keep our consciousness alive.
