Also, yam is an indispensable thing in Sri Lanka for any festive occasion. In other words, various delicious dishes are created using yam. Among them, cutlets, samosas, various types of rolls and bites are very popular. So, yam is a non-starchy food. .Therefore, there is a possibility of contracting adverse diseases due to excessive eating.
So at present, many people are used to adding low calorie foods to their diet. So, compared to rice, the amount of calories in yams is low. Therefore, it is better to add yams to their daily diet than eating rice. But Eating unlimited food is not good for the body.
Also, these potatoes contain protein and fat. Therefore, this potato is a good food that provides fiber to our body. Therefore, by eating this fiber-rich food, it is possible to prevent constipation and speed up digestion.
So eating rice and yam at the same time is not very good, because then excessive calories are released into our body. So, because of this, our body has an increased chance of becoming obese and we have to face various diseases.
