A squirrel is a small rodent mammal with a bushy tail and big eyes. They can move very fast and are
omnivores animals. They mostly feed on fruits, nuts plants, insects and other small animals.

Materials used for the drawing
Step 1
I began the drawing from the head of the squirrel. On the head, I drew the nose, mouth, eyes and the ear
Step 2
At rbis step, I drew the Back of the squirrel and the hind limbs.
Step 3
I drew the stomach of the squirrel and the forelegs. I also drew the fruit that the animal is eating.
Step 4
Here I drew the stone on which the squirrel is standing.
Step 5
I drew the tail of the squirrel which brought me to the end of the pencil work.
Step 6
At this stage, I began colouring the squirrel from the back down to the hindlimbs. I used my brown and yellow colour to achieve this.
Step 7
I coloured the head and forelegs of the squirrel using a brown colour
Step 8
I coloured the tail and ears of the squirrel using brown colour.
Step 9
Here, I used a 12B pencil to give the black hairs among the brown hair on the body of the squirrel.
Step 10
I used a 12B pencil to give the black hairs on the tail of the squirrel.
Step 11
I coloured the eye of the squirrel using a 12B pencil, a 6B pencil and a yellow colour. I also used a 12B pencil to give the black hairs on the head of the squirrel. I also shaded the mouth and the nose.
Step 12
I shaded the fruit in the hands of the squirrel using yellow and orange colours. I also draw the long black hairs around its nose.
Step 13
I shaded the stone on which the squirrel was standing using a 12B pencil.
