Making chicken karahi at home is simple and easy recipe. Recently we Start by gathering the ingredients. You will need 1 kilogram of chicken, 4 large tomatoes, 2 medium onions, 4 to 5 green chilies, 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste, half a cup of oil, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of crushed black pepper, 1 teaspoon of garam masala and salt to taste.
Heat the oil in a large pan. Once the oil is heat up then add the ginger-garlic paste and choped onion in it. Then try it and after this add tomato paste and fry it well. After this add the chicken pieces and cook on high heat until they turn white and slightly golden.
After this add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper and salt. Mix everything thoroughly so the spices coat the chicken evenly.
Now, Cover the pan with a lid and let the chicken and tomatoes cook on medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes. The tomatoes will soften and blend with the chicken, creating a rich base for the karahi.
Add the green chili in it. These ingredients give the karahi its signature aroma and spicy kick. Serve it hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
