The Diary Game || 26-10-24 || Sanitation Weekend in my Locality and Reaching out to 2 Steem Investors

Dear Diary,

It was a sanitation day and a weekend. During sanitation days, I barely go out, especially if my parents are home. I'm always bent on ensuring the compound was kept clean and tidy before thinking of going anywhere. Rainfall these few days has washed away the top soil close to my compound, making it like a ravine, or gutter, so to speak.

So the work I did was filling this created space or hole with sand in bags. The hole was covered with water though, and in my street, the bad roads were amended by blocking bags so that sand transported by heavy rainfall can fill up loop holes. The movement of sand with a shovel was quite difficult, and one thing about passersby is that they can't keep quiet.

They must always remark or comment on something. While doing the work, some passersby told me I'm just wasting my time and that this is how I should have done it. They kept giving suggestions while tired me gave deaf ears to the cries of these people. I felt discouraged at some point to continue the work as it was overly stressful.

Through our knowledge of where water passes through, we came to a conclusion on how to block the movement accompanied by the water. To be honest, it wasn't an easy task transporting the sand.

I brought out bags for this purpose, to help me out in placing barriers that can prevent water from washing the sand but rather contain it in one place. I did this work with my brother. We ensured we placed barriers to achieve something. Not placing the barriers would mean we didn't do anything.

After the tedious work that hour, I felt so relieved and revived. I took to refresh myself from the sweaty and tired feeling by cutting the coconut in our home and making good use of it. I used a ladder since I wasn't able to climb the tree due to tiredness. I brought down two coconuts and cut them. I drank the water, which proved to quench thirst even more than water does.

My friends came around, and I did host them, no doubt. Then helped me get the compound tidy since I wasn't done. While I did the sweeping, one of my friends did the grass cutting. I was so excited I got this support, after which I moved in and changed up to visit one of my friends who wanted to purchase Steem Coin.

I headed for his house to show him how this could be possible. He wanted me there, so he would send the money to me to purchase a dollar, buy the coin, and then send it to him. That's exactly what I did before getting entertained by him as a guest in his house.

After spending some hours there and developing quality interactions with this man, I left for my home to create the dance challenge contest I've been meaning to do before the sun goes down. On getting home, I ate my breakfast and then prepared myself to do the dance.

It wasn't easy, as my legs were directly involved. After the dance challenge, I freshened up to meet another person at home still for the same purchase of steem. So I'm gradually gathering investors to invest in steem now that the price is low and affordable in large quantities. That is what I've been busy doing all along so that the Steemit platform can get popular alongside its native coin.

I got myself dressed, as you can see, and I'm smiling that finally, I'm going to be out of my comfort zone. On a normal note, I don't go out except when someone draws me out. I'm always indoors, and I just like that space. Whenever I go out, I find it difficult to balance writing on Steemit or even doing anything, and my time is always wasted. I feel

I was welcomed with a banquet. Like, the hospitality was just on a different level. They said they were surprised to see me show up finally because they've once invited me to their house, but time and busy schedules placed a barrier for me to do that. So finally, I got there, and lest I forget, I captured the beautiful sunset.

Like, the view on their street is so intriguing that I wish I was staying there. You get to see the sun setting from a distance. Now that I was welcomed, we started gisting and discussing how the crypto market would be affected this bullish season. We did lots of analysis, even taking into consideration the US election that's already forthcoming. The discussion ended with "send your account details," as it was already late.

We forgot the main aim or purpose at which I was there till it got dark, and I couldn't stay there much longer. They sent the money for me to buy dollars for them as they can't do so on Binance, and I then sent the dollars for them to use in purchasing steems. They got a total of 569 steems for long-term holding.

It was late at night, and I returned home to assist my mom in the kitchen as she prepared soup that night for us to have dinner. These were the ingredients used in preparing wild spinach soup, one of my favourites.

That's how my day ended. I did my normal social media surfing and also watched a movie titled Warning examples for our day. It's a biblical movie that portrays what the Israelites did in the past: they made God's anger blaze on them, losing their lives in the process. This includes fornicating and associating with people who worshipped false gods.

As a warning example for us today, God's anger will also blaze on those who go against his laws as to fornication, adultery, idolatry, and the likes. To prevent such from happening, we need to take into consideration his righteous standards and do everything possible to please him as the giver of our life.

I made good trades that made me sleep like a baby. That's how I ended my weekend.
