This morning, I asked a lady this contest question. Guess her reply!!! She said she chose money and that I should leave peace of mind for the wicked. My ribs cracked hard with laughter. You know there's a saying that there's no peace for the wicked. So the people that really need this peace of mind are the wicked. How comical!

Money without peace of mind_
Peace of mind without money_
Peace of mind without food

When this choice is put in place, I take my mind to what this is implying. If it means choosing between wealth and peace of mind, I'll choose peace of mind, but when it comes to choosing between money, which is the basis of our survival, and peace of mind, **I won't be that stupid to choose peace of mind.

Peace of mind will kill you because of not choosing to have money. Money brings peace of mind. With money,

You can raise your family without thinking too much about how to do so.
You can sleep peacefully without thinking of what to eat, what to wear, or what work to do the next day.
You can plan your future and avoid limitations to your growth.
You can eat good food, get quality education, and have peace of mind.

Peace of mind cannot pay bills, but money can.. Let's see what this contest has for us.

Are we all sacrificing peace to make money?

I can sacrifice my peace to make money, but I can't sacrifice it to make more money or to become wealthy. Let's imagine you're a family head and you have a family of 5. You're to pay fees for these children, but you don't have money. ** How will you get peace of mind in this kind of situation? You'll be on debts upon debts, which doesn't include any way to bring peace of mind.

So in this case, you're sacrificing your peace to work for your family, borrow money for them, and push a truck for them. These activities don't bring peace of mind because they are strenuous activities. This is a picture of me sacrificing my peace of mind so I can get food for myself and my family, though not married. It's only God that gives peace of mind, and his peace of mind is one that refreshes, gives power, and gives the desire to act and think, as the holy scriptures put it.

Since it's not about choosing wealth and riches, my whole life is dependent on money because, with money, I can buy food that keeps me alive. But the question is, why is it that even when people sacrifice their peace of mind for money, they get more problems, and some even die because of money?

There are two different forms of money gains. Money you need to be stable financially, and money you need to solve both your wants and needs. People go extreme into placing their peace of mind to gain more. That's why the saying trended: There's no peace for the wicked because most of them can't even sleep at night. The peace isn't there even when the money is there because they have guilty consciences.

So it all depends on the kind of money you want. For me, I want money that I can use to keep surviving and not the whole world. If this takes my peace of mind to get, I will but won't go extreme. The Bible has taught us how to balance money and peace of mind. Peace of mind comes when you have the first choice and you know how to balance them. Lack of peace of mind often kill. So we all need peace of mind, but with the latter.

Which is wiser to spend and earn or to spend after earning and saving?

In our current era, it's quite obvious that people spend and earn at the same time. It's only those that are wealthy and rich that spend after earning and saving. To me, I'll say spending and earning is a reversed cycle where you give and take at the same time, knowing you have a stable source of income giving you money on a daily basis, but most times, the second option is very good because it encourages planning ahead compared to the latter, where you'll have to spend on necessities without planning on how to use the money.

To me, I'll choose to spend and earn though, because if you want to wait until you've earned and saved before you start spending, you may have died before your money yields. Nobody knows his lifespan on earth except it's your children that would be given the opportunity.

The earning and spending on a daily basis makes your life balanced somehow, though you won't be able to plan for future projections, but I refer to the latter even though there are consequences.

Apart from money, what brings you peace and happiness?

The scripture says, "Happy are those hearing the word of God and keeping it. This applies to everyone. You can be happy and have peace if you read the Bible and apply it in your daily life. The Bible contains advice on daily living, how to spend money, how to live life in a way that won't affect your negativity, and also shows us ways we can be happy, something money can't do. It gives hope too.

Your money can't bring the dead back to life or heal some sickness that may disturb your peace of mind. The promises from the scripture give us comfort and peace that someday we'll get to see our dead loved ones again. When I'm depressed, I use the Bible to cure that depression. When a family head, wife, and children apply what the Bible says as to their Godgiven roles, there's no way the family won't be happy, as this would avoid separation and divorce.

In conclusion, I choose money over peace of mind. Peace of mind would come when you have money for daily survival. It's only when you want to get more money that your peace of mind. be tempted to go exile. I invite @simonnwigwe, @artist1111, @inspiracion.
