My Unforgettable Trip To Uyo.

Uyo is a very beautiful city that I have been dreaming of visiting for a very long time due to its wonderful adventures.
Our countries national stadium is located there and all the celebrities always come there to perform, I really enjoyed my stay and I am very happy to share it with you guys.

The main reason for my journey to uyo was to attend my country's first ever national meet-up, I saw it as the perfect opportunity to meet all my favourite steemians and also mentor in the platform who I have been communicating with for a very long time.
Going to this journey, I have already planned for it so that it will go smoothly for me. The national meet-up of my country was one to remember, and I was very excited that I visited there.

I prepared myself very well especially financially to make sure that I attended good acre of myself, as early as 29th of November I took my bath and went to the park to enter a vehicle that will make me to calabar from my place of residence which was ikom town locates in cross river state, Nigeria.
When I entered the vehicle I paid for the transportation and we delayed it for sometimes due to a lack of passengers and after an hour our vehicle was filled and we left immediately.

Unfortunately for us our vehicle had a problem thst was beyond repair, as a barrack boy that I am I quickly located the nearest military checkpoint and told them my challenges, I even showed them my id card so they welcomed me with open arms.
Luckily, I saw a vehicle that was heading to calabar not long ago, but it was a truck. I had no option but to journey with them.
It was the truck that really delayed my movement to uyo for the national meet-up, which made me arrive at 12am, which was very late for me.

On my way I made enquiries about the shortest way to uyo and I was told to stop and odukpani because there I will easily see a vehicle that will transport me to uyo easily, I arrived udukpani and around 8pm so I quickly took a bud that was going to uyo.
I was very scared because it was my first time travelling at night and the tension was high, luckily for me I arrived very safely all thanks to God almighty.

The next morning, I met with sir xkool24, Nina, sahmie, and ruthjoe they were all happy to see me, and I was also honoured to meet them physically

We now walk down the venue for the national meetup up which was pan African Secondary school. It was a lot the centre of steem Stay fit, and they were Normally so their morning workout yonkeep their body fit.
Their coach in person of ma ngoenyi was very happy to see me and I was also happy to see her also, I met my steemit friends and we all had a good conversation and shared joyful moment together.

After everything, we went to ngoenyi house to assist in the preparation of the meals that will be used as refreshments during the event.

We assisted heavily in preparing the meal and they were impressed with us, after the meal was ready we took the pot and started eating although I wasn't hungry so I didn't eat, but alli001, emishael and kidi40 were the ones who consumed the meal anywhere you see for they will be there because they lives eating food very well.

Thinking about how the evet will be

The reason for my trip finally came and I was very happy, when I arrived at the centres for the meetup I was very impressed because we were all looking wonderful with our uniform and it was very unique.
I saw all those steemians I have been looking up to especially the likes of ma eliany, ma goodybest who are our country representatives in the platform, they really said positive things about me and I was very proud of myself because I have really worked hard for it.

The even started by Introduction of the members we all introduced ourselves, and it was very wonderful to see each other physically . Also, hearing them speak for the very first time.

My best moments of that event was when I was introduced to the high table, I was the smallest steemians there and that really made me proud and also surprised as well, I never expect myself to sit with those wonderful steemians, I was indeed honoured.

We had a question and answere section where they was room to attend to questions and also lecture us more about the platform, I was really impressed with how they lectured us more about the platform it really taught me a lot.

After the session, they were room for observation where users were given the opportunity to air out their minds about the platform, I mean their challenges and problems they are having in the platform.
We attended to everyone, and they were all happy to continue blogging in the platform, we gave them a reason why they shouldn't give up.

The meet-up was spiced up by Bossj23, who surprised us. What he called the mystery box is that this box contains different kinds of gifts, he shutdown every day as all our attention was focused on the gifting processes.

The meet-up came into conclusion, and it was time for a photo session where we all took wonderful pictures together.

After the meet-up they was an after-party session where we all had fun together, we bought suya and bottles of drinks to commemorate the event, and it as s wonderful day for me, I must confess.

We discussed our personal life, and through that period, I discovered many things about some steemians I never knew before they also got to know more about me.
The day came to an end, and we all went to bed peacefully, sahmie and ruthjoe left very early the next morning as they needed to get back to work.

After a while, we were surprised as Bossj23 came to visit us in our hotel room, I was very surprised and happy to see him physically, and he was also happy to see me.

We have known ourselves for a very long time in the platform and also communicate on WhatsApp so for us to see each other physically for the first time ever, we hugged each other very well and also get to know more about our life outside the platform it was a good moment for me I must confess.

It was time for Nina and sir xkool24 to leave, and we all took group photographs together so we will remember that moment.

It was match day, and as a liver of football, my favourite team, Chelsea Football Club, has a game to play, and I make sure to be available for the game, Allison took me to the match viewing centre and we sat comfortably watching the beautiful game of football.

I left there very happy because my team dominated the game by 3 goals to nothing.
After the match we took wonderful pictures together on our way to ma ngoenyi house.

We now went to a place called Christmas village where we had the time of our life, I really enjoyed my time there, and it was the best place I have ever visited.

The adventures and surroundings were very good and it had positive vibes and energy, we had a good time together and ordered our favourite drinks and barbecue to enjoy ourselves.

	Paying attention to ma eliany lectures

We were happy to receive some lectures from ma eliany about the steemit platform and how to be successful in the platform, she is an inspiration to all Nigerians so sitting one on one with her was a good moment for me.

She opened her joint so as steeminans it's best we patronise her business so that the business will boom very well.
She was very happy to see us and we had a good time together, it backed very late so we had to go home and rest our head as I will be leaving the next morning.
I woke up early in the morning, and Allison and kidi40 saw me off to where I would enter a vehicle to the park.

I successfully arrived at the park and I paid for the tickets which cost me 9,000 NGN to my destination which is also equivalent to 25 steem.

	The meal i ate

After paying for the tickets I felt very hungry and quickly went to a nearby restaurant and bought food for myself and ate it really helped me a lot.
By the grace of God, I successfully arrived at my destination all thanks to God almighty.

This trip means a lot to me, and I really had the time of my life. The memories will forever remain in my heart, so I have decided to save it in this platform.
