Is NYC "Nurse Karen" going to make a ton of money?

I am quite happy that I don't participate in Twitter or TikTok or really any of those things but I do end up hearing about things that go viral. You've probably already heard about the "Nurse Karen" and how the media once again tried to frame her as a "white supremacist" and said that she was trying to steal a bike from a group of black men / teens.

You've already likely heard that the media and Twitter jumped all over this story and labeled her a white supremacist and other nasty things when once the evidence came into the equation, it turns out that she was in the right. She had paid for the bike and the other guys were in the wrong.

The bike ID matches the bike in question provided it is the same bike. I don't know how this can be proven and the time on the receipt has been blurred out for some reason. If the both booked a bike at the same time and it was just a mistake that could be fine. Mistakes happen so that is fair enough but what irritates me is that the internet was very quick to label this as a hate crime and white supremacy when in reality a woman who had just been at work for 12 hours was simply trying to get home and got caught up in going viral. Some people were quick to jump on this situation and call it "racist" without even considering the evidence. She never says anything racist so why did they jump to that conclusion?

They did it because our media is evil and in this particular situation many MSM outlets jumped at the opportunity to work this story into a racism angle but now, hopefully they will end up paying the price just like the networks that went after Kyle Rittenhouse did.

The thing that gets me is that she was put on leave right after the incident went viral and since she is in NYC, I would say it is pretty likely that she is going to lose her job even though she didn't do anything wrong. In NYC, if you are white, you are guilty it seems.

I hope she sues the pants off of every news network that labeled her in a bad light without any evidence. The media needs to be held accountable when they ruin people's lives and even though this particular woman is innocent, she is likely going to have to move away because of it. Therefore, I hope she sues and gets a massive settlement amount and then moves away from crazy New York City to somewhere else. Nurses are needed all over the place. I have one in my family and she can move just about anywhere that she wants to both in the USA and abroad.

Where I live, we don't have this culture of recording everything in the hopes of going viral or if we do, I certainly haven't seen it. We also don't have a mentality of trying to make everything racist just because two parties with differing opinions happen to be a different skin color. Why is is that here in New Berne, we have the "diversity" that you hear so much about, yet we don't ever have anything getting labeled as a hate crime? I think that it might be because even these places like NYC don't have much in the way of hate crimes either, but it is just the liberal mentality to find racism where it doesn't exist and also because the media just seems to thrive on such stories whether or not they even happen to be true.

Well, while I am not a fan of excess litigation I think that in this case that this woman needs to be awarded a ton of money by the news networks that added unnecessary fuel to the fire. The court of public opinion is already done for her in NYC and she will not be able to live there anymore. I hope she takes ABC and any blue check mark that Tweeted to over 19 million people to the cleaners in court.

If new information comes to light that she has invented this entire scenario I will eat my words but here is the thing. What person do you know that is pregnant, is going to approach a group of much larger, much more physically fit men or teens and then try to steal a bike from them? In what world does that happen? The color of the skin is irrelevant, people simply do not do this. Therefore the narrative about her "attempting to steal the bike" is simply crazy. If she sues the news networks that reported this and wins, I will celebrate and everyone else should as well. There is only one way that the MSM is going to change and start having actual evidence before they break stories, and that is to hit them where it hurts most.... in the wallet.
