MACRO on the table

Hi friends, I can't enter to compete for prizes in a competition I organised myself. But what's stopping me from making a couple of posts on the theme of the contest? Let them be posts in support of the MACRO theme.

Strangely enough, my desk is not only filled with tools and computer stuff (actually a lot of extraneous stuff:). Recently there was a family holiday, we had guests and these guests brought flowers (not for me, of course). Flowers have a way of falling asleep. It's their way of finding another life. It's just like people. Sometimes I just throw the wilted flowers in the bin, but sometimes I leave them to be photographed. That's what happened this time. A few roses from different bouquets stood on the table in an empty dry jar waiting for their hour. Last night this hour came.

I must confess that some flowers I like more in their dried form. Live flowers are very similar to each other. Dried flowers do it differently and each has its own character.

Why did I wait for night?
I like to shoot against a dark background with minimal lighting.
