I'm so glad it's October now- I LOVE Halloween season, it's my favourite!
The atmosphere is so cosy, especially seeing all the Autumn colour leaves around the floor- I love it.
I wanted to doodle a little Halloween costume over a picture of my cat because I thought it would be cute/maybe even inspire a little costume for her? I doubt she'd be comfortable wearing it though as she's a bit fussy, hahaha.
She looks so pretty in this picture!!! It's a little hard getting her to pose for pictures, she's still a kitten though so it's ok, lol!
I started off this drawing with sketching with a lighter colour over the photo so I'd be able to see it better.
I added a nice border to the outer parts as I wanted something that would tie in the whole piece together.
I chose a pumpkin because I thought it would be really cute, and I wanted this drawing to look like she is sat in a pumpkin patch.
Next drawing should be a witch or something, but I'm always open for suggestions!
I also put on a little orange colour filter to make it look like the picture was taken at a pumpkin patch during a nice evening sunset!
I feel like I'm definitely one of those pet owners who's obsessed with their cat, so I think I'll be doing more of these throughout October!
This looks like it could be a seasonal card or something.
