It’s Saturday today and that means I can be more lazy in the morning.
I decided to paint a cat from Dariart marathon. She used gouache and I’m using acrylic paints.
As always I begin with basic pencil sketch to know where everything should be.
Next step is to paint the background.
Only then I start painting the main character.
I find cats to be a little tricky to paint. This is my second attempt of painting a cat and I’m not satisfied with the result. I’m happy that I spent time painting and enjoyed the process but the result itself not so much.
I think my favorite part in this painting were cat’s eyes. I think they are cute.
